How To Participate in Pool-Based Staking

Learn the step-by-step process on how to stake in the Pool-Based Staking of SparkDeFi

Hello, Sparkies!

Today, let’s learn how to participate in the Pool-Based Staking available in SparkDeFi.

In Pool-Based Staking, you don’t need to provide liquidity to get liquidity pool tokens for you to stake. All you need SRKb, SFUEL, or any available token you hold which is currently supported by SparkDeFi in general, and little BNB for the transaction fee.

Step 1: Open your internet browser

Open your internet browser. Go to the SparkDeFi website. Make sure that the URL is srk.finance.

In the upper right-hand corner, click the LAUNCH APP button.

The Pool Site will open.

Step 2: Connect Wallet

Once you have accessed the web app, connect to your MetaMask wallet. Make sure you switch it to BSC Network.

Step 3: Choose a pair and proceed to Staking.

Once your MetaMask wallet is connected, you can now choose a pair from the pool.

For this, tutorial we will use the “Stake SRKb and Earn SRKb Rewards Pool-Based Staking Pool” as an example.

To start staking, click the Stake button.

After clicking the Stake button, a prompt will appear.

Select Stake Tokens button.

Step 4: Input the amount of tokens

Input your desired amount to stake or if you want to stake all of your available tokens, click ‘Maximum button’.

Please take note that in this pool, the maximum amount you can stake is 3,000,000 SRKb. The max amount varies from pool to pool.

Step 5: Approve the tokens

Once the desired amount has been provided, double-check the values then click Approve.

Step 6: Confirm the transaction

Once approved, the MetaMask Wallet confirmation message will appear. BNB is needed for this process for the transaction (gas) fee. Click Confirm.

Reminder: You need to make sure you have enough BNB to cover the gas fee.

Wait for the transaction to be approved. You can also check it on Bscscan to see the progress.

Another window will appear where you need to approve the number of SRKb tokens you want to deposit. Click ‘Deposit’.

The MetaMask Wallet confirmation message will appear, you need to ‘Confirm’ the transaction again.

Take note: You’ll be charged of another transaction fee.

Once the transaction of your deposit has been confirmed, your SRKB DEPOSITS will reflect the value you have staked.

If the value of your SRKb deposits doesn’t appear, refresh the web app.

To check your rewards, it’s shown on the SRKB TOKEN EARNINGS.
